- How many holidays can I enjoy in my caravan at Nancolleth Caravan Park?
As many as you like whilst the park is open between 5th March and 5th January.
- Is owning a caravan and renting a pitch common practice?
Yes, the purchasing of static caravans on a rented pitch is common and increasingly popular.
- Is there a professional body that regulates owning a caravan and renting a pitch?
Yes, the association British Holiday & Home Parks Association (BHHPA) who provide standard contracts that help to ensure your rights are protected. Nancolleth Caravan Park endorse the code of practice of BHHPA
- Can family and friends use my holiday home?
Yes, use of the caravan is for private use by you, your family and friends. No hiring.
- What are running the costs?
Until further notice these are as follows;
There is an annual pitch rental fee £1650 -£2150.
Council Rates £80 (estimate)
Gas / Water / Electric- metered
Insurance - £12.60 per £1000 insured.
- Does a holiday home come with warranty?
Yes, new holiday homes are supplied with manufacture warranty.
- Can we sell our caravan after buying it?
Yes, either to a 3rd party or back to Nancolleth Caravan Park.* Commission to a maximum rate of 15% plus VAT if appropriate is payable.
- What is a pitch / plot?
A pitch / plot is the location within the park on which your caravan is sited.
- How long may I keep my caravan at Nancolleth Caravan Park?
Caravans may remain at Nancolleth Caravan Park until they are twelve years unless other wise agreed.
- What security do I have?
We offer you a formal agreement approved by the British Holiday & Home Parks Association for the purpose of a Code of Practice recognised by the Office of fair Trading. This agreement sets out all our obligations to each other.
- Can I rent out my holiday home?
No, we don’t have a rental programme; we aim for a quiet peaceful park.
- Are tourers, tents allowed?
No, this site is static caravans only
- Who is responsible of maintenance?
We manage the maintenance of the shared facilities; laundrette, and gardens. You are responsible for your own caravan. However, we will keep an eye on your home when you are away and assist.
- Are pets allowed?
Sorry, no pets are allowed.
- Are there Holiday Park rules?
Yes, please ask for copy when arranging a viewing.
